Boys Hockey: Warriors secure share of CLC title

The Brainerd Warriors earned a share of the Central Lakes Conference title with a 5-1 win over the River Lakes Stars in their final regular-season game Thursday, Feb. 14 at Essentia Health Sports Center in Brainerd.

The Brainerd Warriors earned a share of the Central Lakes Conference title with a 5-1 win over the River Lakes Stars in their final regular-season game Thursday, Feb. 14 at Essentia Health Sports Center in Brainerd.

Five different skaters scored goals for the Warriors who finish 8-1 in the CLC and tied with Alexandria with 11 points.

Nick Hastings, Wyatt Andres, Hayden Kruse, Eric Pohlkamp and Mason Kruse scored for Brainerd.

The Warriors outshot the Stars 29-12. The only shot to get past Brainerd goalie Jacob Mitchell was a short-hander with 4:21 left.
