Cole Ball and Sam Selisker punched in first period goals and that was all the Brainerd Warriors needed en route to a 4-1 Central Lakes Conference victory over the Alexandria Cardinals Thursday at Essentia Health Sports Center.
Jack Evans added an insurance goal in the second and Josh Howieson put in an empty netter in the third.
Goalie Brady Mick recorded 21 saves for the Warriors, who were outshot 22-19.
Brainerd has won four of its last five and is 7-1-1 in the conference, 12-7-1 overall.
The teams tied 3-3 Dec. 15 at Alexandria.
