Jacob Holm scored four times and Ethan DeRosier tallied the other Brainerd Warrior goal in a 13-5 loss to Sartell/Sauk Rapids Tuesday, April 27, in Brainerd.

Tanner Karsnia finished with 15 saves for the Warrior

“We keep getting better and better,” Warrior head coach Adam Extrand said. “I’m super proud of the guys. At times we had some breakdowns and they scored on those. We’ll play them again just like we play St. Cloud for a second time on Thursday.

“We’re doing some great stuff, but again there is some inexperience overall. We’re still pretty young, but I think they’ll make a push as the season progresses. We’ve cut our scores in half as far as what we’ve given up and we’re scoring more than we have. It’s coming together. The guys have to keep believing we can win.”
