Boys Soccer: Megazzini’s big night gives Warriors the edge over Willmar

Cruz Megazzini tallied two goals and an assist for Brainerd in a 3-1 win Thursday, Sept. 17, at Adamson Field.

The Warriors Jackson Bluth scored the lone goal of the first half at the 8:30 mark on an assist from Megazzini.

Megazzini provided the Warrior offense in the second half scoring an unassisted goal at 40:27 and his second goal at the 70:31 mark on an assist from James Thompson after the Cardinals had pulled to within a goal at 2-1.

Brandon Neifert faced two shots and came away with one save as the Warriors improved to 6-0-1.
