MOORHEAD — The No. 3 seeded Brainerd Warriors lost to the No. 2 seeded Moorhead Spuds 1-0 the Section 8-2A semifinals Wednesday, Oct. 21.
After a scoreless first half, Moorhead broke the tie halfway through the second half with a goal.
Brainerd had chances towards the end of the game, but could not find the back of the net.
The Spuds and Warriors played to a 2-2 tie Saturday, Oct. 10, in Brainerd.
Brainerd finishes its season 9-1-2.
