Boys Soccer: Spuds shut out Warriors

MOORHEAD - Noah Yak netted a hat trick for the Moorhead Spuds who defeated the Brainerd Warriors 4-0 in a Section 8-2A game Tuesday.

"It was a tale of two halves," said Brainerd coach Tom Grausam. "We played well the first half, but kind of fell apart in the second half."

Moorhead led 1-0 at the intermission.

Keeper Noah Sundberg registered six saves for the Warriors who were outshot 9-6.

Moorhead 1 3 - 4

First half: M-Noah Yak

Second half: M-Yak, M-Yak, M-Jake Holtgrewe
