Boys Soccer: Warriors fall by 1 goal to Willmar

WILLMAR — Jemil Osmin’s lone goal in the first period propelled Willmar to a 1-0 Central Lakes Conference win over the Brainerd Warriors in a weather-shortened game Thursday, Sep 16.

The Warriors put four shots on the Cardinals goal and Brainerd keeper Kalvin Stengrim blocked nine shots.

The game was called after the 23rd minute due to lightning.
