Bemidji outshot Brainerd 10-0 in the first half, but Brainerd earned a 3-2 edge in shots in the second half.

"It was nice seeing the Warriors fight back when going into the second half down by three," said Warrior head coach Tom Grausam. "We switched the momentum. If we had extra time it might have been event. The boys played well.

"We still need to learn to keep our shape and space. The player are turning the corner. They are gaining confidence in themselves along with their teammates."

Sophomore Ben Westerberg was named the Brainerd player of the game said Grausam.
