ALEXANDRIA — Tristan Dawson was the only winner for the Brainerd Warriors in a 118-68 loss to the Alexandria Cardinals in a Central Lakes Conference meet Tuesday, Feb. 9.
Dawson swam a 58.40 in the 100-yard backstroke, out-touching the Card’s Thomas Williams by .01.
Five other Warriors collected individual second-place finishes: Thomas Ruhl (50 freestyle), Cade Rosenwald (100 butterfly), Mason Kuepers (500 freestyle), Caden Sumption (100 breaststroke), and Jalen Emslander (diving).
Brainerd placed second in all three relay races.
