ALEXANDRIA - Five Brainerd Warriors swam to All-Central Lakes Conference honors Saturday to lead Brainerd to third in the CLC championship.
Brainerd's 200 medley relay team of Preston Owen, Michael Bylander, Peder Smith and David Supinski placed second.
Smith also earned the honor in the 200- and 500-yard freestyles by placing third in both events. Supinski finished second in the 100 free and Preston Owen was third in the 100 backstroke.
Matt Majerle rounded out Brainerd's all-conference performers with his third-place 100 butterfly finish.
Brainerd's 400 free relay was all-conference honorable mention as was Owen in the 200 individual medley, Supinski in the 50 free, Majerle in the 100 backstroke and Robert Young in diving.

The Warriors clocked 34 season best times Saturday.
Sartell won the championship meet, but will share the overall conference championship with St. Cloud Tech as a result of their dual-meet standings.
