ALEXANDRIA-Tanner Lundberg lost only one game as he defeated Alexandria's JJ Foster in straight sets leading the No. 2-seeded Brainerd Warriors to a sweep in singles and a 6-1 win over the No. 3 Cardinals in the North Subsection 8-2A Team Tournament Tuesday.
Brainerd also won in straight sets at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles.
The Warriors have won seven meets in a row and improved their season record to 19-2.
Next up for Brainerd is the North Subsection 8-2A Individual Tournament at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Courts Plus in Fargo.
Lundberg (20-1) is seeded No. 1 in the individual tournament and has drawn a first-round bye while Patrick Meyer (14-6) is seeded sixth. Meyer faces Alexandria's Derek Berning in the opening round at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Meyer defeated Berning 6-1, 6-3 Monday.

In the individual doubles tournament, Travis Goeden-Garrett Goeden are seeded second and have a first-round bye. They teamed together the latter part of the season finishing 5-1.
Steven Low-Nathan Rud are seeded fifth and face Alex's Alec Bollman and Matt Vogel at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
In section team play, the Warriors will face South No. 1-seeded Becker in the 8-2A semifinals at St. Cloud Apollo 10 a.m. Friday with the winner advancing to the title meet at 1:30 p.m. against the St. Cloud Tech/Willmar winner.
