The Mississippi Headwaters Board will host its annual Canoe Day Saturday, Aug. 1, at Kiwanis Park in Brainerd.
Social hour is 9-10 a.m. with booths featuring environmental, recreational and civic themes.
The canoe launch is 10-11 a.m. Enjoy a paddle down the Mississippi River and arrive at Crow Wing State Park about 1:30 p.m.
A free shuttle service is provided to return those participating back to Kiwanis Park to retrieve their vehicles.
