ST. MICHAEL-Brainerd's varsity cheer team won the Frosty Fest competition Saturday, Dec. 15 at St. Micheal-Albertville High School.
The varsity consists of Kaylee Sutton, Rayah Unger, Zach Capistrant, Violet Goodwin, Kaitlynn Capistrant, Malia Hermerding, Lindsay Carner, Ella Schmitz, Breanna Fraser, Rachel Aydt, Amara Ruether, Jordan Koering, Savannah Roth, Amber Russell.
Brainerd's junior varsity landed in second place. The junior varsity team is Bailey Schuler, Kjerstin Flansburg, Quinn Giles, Shayn Meyer, Anna Davis, Gabby Miller.
Brainerd will showcase its competition routines during halftime of the Warrior boys basketball game Friday, Dec. 28. The varsity's next competition will be Saturday, Jan 5 at Minnetonka. The varsity and junior varsity will compete Jan. 19 at Dassel-Cokato.
