Three Brainerd High School graduates and a Pierz High School graduate who compete for Concordia College in Moorhead were named MIAC Academic All-Conference Athletes for the fall of 2016.
Former Warriors honored were junior Maria West, women's cross country; Jon Asprey, senior, and Conor Gessell, junior, football; and Will Corbett, senior from Pierz, men's cross country.
Student-athletes must meet sport-specific athletic requirements and possess a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better. Student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior or senior with at least one year (two semesters) at their current institution to be eligible for the award.
