BRAINERD — Mason Argir struck out four and allowed just one run in six innings of work to pitch the Central Lakes College Raiders to a 2-1 Game One victory over Ridgewater Sunday, April 3.
Argir surrendered just two hits and walked six before Alonso Became pitched a scoreless seventh inning for the save.
Eli Roberts was 2-3 with a triple and two runs scored.
Erubiel Osuna and Gunnar Wicklund both secured RBIs and Cesar Portillo doubled for CLC.
The second game against Ridgewater was postponed after the first inning because of snow.

Kyle Baker and Adam Braun both homered, but Westner Technical scored two runs in the top of the seventh to steal a 6-5 victory over CLC in Game One of Saturday’s action.
Erubiel Ozuna drove in two runs and Braun was 1-3 with a walk, run and two RBIs. Baker also hit a double and went 2-3 with a walk.

Derin Gaudette pitched the Raiders to a 3-1 victory over Vermilion in Game Two Saturday.
Gaudette scattered five hits and four walks over five innings. He allowed one run and struck out three.
