Central Lakes College first baseman Casey Giesseman was named the MCAC Central Division baseball player of the week ending April 3.
The sophomore from Sturgeon Bay, Wis., opened the season batting .500 (8-for-16, 5 runs scored). During a 6-game stretch, Giesseman hit one home run and four doubles with 11 RBIs and four walks.
