College Baseball: Kapphahn honored again

Central Lakes College freshman Jake Kapphahn earned his second Minnesota College Athletic Conference Player of the Week honor so far in the short season.

Central Lakes College freshman Jake Kapphahn earned his second Minnesota College Athletic Conference Player of the Week honor so far in the short season.

Kapphahn, a Little Falls High School graduate, finished the week 7-of-12 to help CLC finish the week 5-0. He walked seven times, scored seven runs and drove in five runs. He also stole a base and had a sacrifice fly.

He leads the MCAC with a .511 batting average.

Kapphahn also pitched in two games as he collected two saves.
