WORTHINGTON-Mark Kossan doubled and pitched a complete game to help the Central Lakes College Raiders to their first win of the season 8-6 in the second game of a doubleheader against the Rainy River Voyageurs Saturday.
Kossan allowed seven hits and no earned runs with three strikeouts and two walks. Cody Fourre also doubled during the win. Kyle Zierden tallied three RBIs for the Raiders, Joel Erickson had two hits and Casey Giesseman drove in two runs.
In Game One Saturday, Giesseman homered and recorded four RBIs in an 11-7 loss to the Voyageurs. Kossan, Fourre and Giesseman all had two hits.
