WORTHINGTON-Kyle Zierden and Jake Hyytinen had productive games at the plate as the Central Lakes College Raiders dropped a pair of 5-inning games to the Minnesota West Blue Jays Sunday.
In a 17-4 loss in Game One, Zierden went 2-for-2 with a solo home run in the second inning and a single in the third. Cody Fourre was 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Casey Giesseman delivered a run-scoring single in the first.
Hyytinen was 3-for-4 with three RBIs as CLC lost Game Two 19-8. He had an RBI double in the second and a 2-run single in the fourth. Austin Larson rapped two doubles and Giesseman contributed an RBI single in the CLC fourth.
