BOONE, Iowa-For the second day in a row, the Central Lakes College Raiders managed just five hits in a doubleheader loss to Des Moines Area Community College.
The Raiders lost Game One 16-1 in five innings with Jacob Hyytinen and Alonzo Knowles collecting the only hits.
CLC lost Game Two 10-0 in six innings with Hyytinen, Eric Kossan and Mike Tveitbakk getting the only hits.
The Raiders, who finished their spring trip 0-13, played 13 games in nine days in Arizona and Iowa.
"It was a long trip with a lot of baseball for the guys against very high competition," CLC coach Brian Voigt said. "The programs we played are programs we want to mirror in success in the future and it is good to see how they carry themselves on the field and in the dugout.

"Overall, the trip was very good for our team. It brings everyone closer together and you get to play a lot of games. Sometimes it is nice to have time in between to work on and fix things right away but now we have the time to do that."
