GRAND RAPIDS - Travis Peterson and Mark Kossan each had two hits as the Central Lakes College Raiders lost to Bismarck State 6-4 in a non-division game Tuesday.
CLC's Jake Faber drove in three runs and pitched the last inning, which CLC entered with a 4-3 lead. He allowed one hit, no earned runs and no walks and struck out one but took the loss.
In six innings, Kossan he gave up four hits and three earned runs with three walks.
Brian Kiel was the losing pitcher as the Raiders were nipped by Itasca 3-2 in another non-division game. He allowed seven hits and three earned runs with no walks and eight strikeouts.
