SPICER — Eight total home runs, highlighted by an Adam Braun grand slam, led the Central Lakes College Raiders to a 17-6, 16-6 sweep over Ridgewater Wednesday, April 27.
Trailing 3-0 early in Game one, Braun hit a grand slam to hand the Raiders a 4-3 lead. The runs just kept coming after that. Kyle Baker, Mason Argir, Derin Gaudette and Mason Waldera all hit home runs for CLC.
Baker finished with three hits and two RBIs. Rylee Rauch doubled and tripled and drove in two runs. Ozuna finished with three hits and two RBIs and Braun finished with three hits and the four RBIs.
Nolan Notch pitched the complete game. He allowed six runs on 11 hits and no walks. He struck out five.

In Game Two, CLC rattled off 18 hits with Eli Roberts blasting two home runs and Noah Cekalla hitting another. Roberts finished 2-3 with three runs and two RBIs. Gunnar Wicklund went 3-4 with two RBIs and a run. Gaudette was 2-4 with two runs and two RBIs, Cekalla was 3-4 with three runs and three RBIs and Rauch was 2-4 with a run and two RBIs.

Ozuna and Baker each had two hits, a double and an RBI.
Baker pitched the victory. He allowed four runs on six hits and no walks over five innings of work. He struck out five. Sam Jansen pitched the final two innings of relief.
