Central Lakes College quarterback Jake Faber and defensive lineman Sean Walker are the MCAC Eastern Division Players of the Week ending Oct. 3.

Faber is the offensive player of the week. The sophomore from Sherburn continues to rack up huge passing numbers for the 12th-ranked Raiders (5-1 overall, 3-1 East). In a 68-14 win against Mesabi Range, he completed 19 of 24 passes for 338 yards and six TDs. Faber has thrown 24 TD passes this season with only five interceptions.

Walker is the defensive player of the week. The sophomore from Madison, Wis., recorded 11 tackles against Mesabi. His effort included six solo tackles, five tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, a forced fumble and three pass breakups.
