Minnesota State University Moorhead red-shirt sophomore defensive back Grant Reuer of Baxter is tied for the lead in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference with three forced fumbles through the season's first three games.
The first-year starter ranks third on the team with 21 tackles. MSUM (2-1 overall) nipped Upper Iowa, 23-21 on Sept. 17. The Dragons play at No. 21-ranked Minnesota State Mankato at 1 p.m. Saturday.
University of Minnesota-Duluth red-shirt freshman linebacker Taylor Streiff of Brainerd ranks second in the NSIC in forced fumbles with two. Streiff has played in two games for the Bulldogs this fall, recording five tackles.
The Bulldogs (2-1) put their 17-game home winning streak on the line at 6:05 p.m. Saturday when they host Augustana University (3-0) in an NSIC interdivision showdown. UMD outscored Concordia St. Paul 52-49 last week.
