MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.-Maddy Stall's 2-out bases-loaded triple in the fifth lifted the Central Lakes College Raiders to their first win of the season, 9-8 over SUNY Adirondack Tuesday.
Andrea Wagoner, Rachel Mathias and Summer Bond each collected two hits for CLC. Wagoner picked up the win in relief. In five innings, she allowed four hits and five earned runs, walked five and struck out two.
In their season opener earlier Tuesday, the Raiders lost 10-2 to South Suburban College. Stall, Kaye Smude and Wagoner each had two hits.
In Game Two Tuesday, CLC was no-hit in an 8-0 loss to St. Louis Community College.
