Jenna Gratz and Katie Johnson of the Central Lakes College Raiders were named Pitcher and Player of the Week for the North Division by the Minnesota College Athletic Conference.
Gratz, a freshman pitcher, threw a nine-inning complete game. She struck out seven and allowed five hits to finish with a 2.33 ERA. She helped her own cause by collecting two hits, scoring four runs and stealing two bases.
Johnson is a freshman first baseman from Verndale.
Johnson finished 4-7 with a double, triple and two RBIs. She posted a 1.000 slugging percentage and a .571 batting average.
Gratz, Johnson and the Raiders are 6-9 overall and 4-2 in North Division play. They travel Thursday, April 29, to face Hibbing Community College.
