ROCESTER - Lindsey Marcyes finished 2-for-3 and Journee Howard and Whitney Trebesh both doubled, but the Central Lakes College Raiders couldn't collect a run during Saturday's 6-0 loss to Anoka in the opening round of the Rochester Tournament.
Faith Kassulker and MacKenzie Holst collected CLC's other hits.
During a 16-4 loss to the fifth-ranked Rochester Yellowjackets in the nightcap, Howard and Marcyes each collected two singles.
The Raiders allowed a five-run first inning, but answered with four runs in the bottom half of the frame. Howard and Trebesch each collected RBIs
Rochester exploded with seven runs in the seventh to blow open a 9-4 game.
