The Central Lakes College Raiders softball program announces the signing of three recruits for the 2016 season.

Hannah Munsch of Brainerd, Lacy Hiltner of Pillager and Michelle Guenther of Hopkins will play for head coach Don Tizzano and assistant coach Ray Austin.

"Hannah can flat out hit," Tizzano said. "She has one of the better swings we have seen from an incoming freshman. She is playing in the outfield for Brainerd this year, but we will move her back into the infield as a corner infielder.

"Lacy is a tremendous athlete. She is extremely quick defensively. Behind the plate she blocks balls well, she can throw. Lacy is a student of the game. She will spend some time in the circle for us as well. Lacy hits the ball hard to all fields. We will plug her into the middle of the lineup.

"Michelle will add speed and athleticism to our lineup. We believe she can hit at the top of our order next year. Michelle has the ability to play all over the field. We project her as a middle infielder next season.

"We are very lucky to have these three kids coming to CLC next season. All three come from quality programs. They are all softball players first, which is very exciting."
