College Softball: Raiders split on Saturday

Central Lakes played two games Saturday.

TITUSVILLE, Fla. — On their second day of softball, the Central Lakes College Raiders earned a split with a loss to St. Cloud Tech and a win over Williston State College Saturday, March 5.

In the 6-5 loss to St. Cloud Tech, the Raiders tallied 11 hits. Cassidy Zontelli, Halle Zupan, Lexy Swanson, Marissa Callahan and Addie Sanford all recorded two hits with two RBIs for Zupan and Swanson. Victoria Wagner started for the Raiders. She struck out two over four innings.

In the 9-0 win over Williston State College, Zontelli and Callahan recorded the only two hits. Zontelli drove in a run and Sandford finished with two RBIs.

Callahan pitched the win. She went five innings with just one hit allowed.
