College Softball: Sanford with big day in Raiders 2 losses

Central Lakes plays a doubleheader against St. Cloud Saturday, May 8.

ST. CLOUD — Addie Sanford totaled seven RBIs and four hits in the Central Lakes College Raiders doubleheader loss to St. Cloud 10-5 and 12-8 Saturday, May 8.

The Raiders offense was led by Lexy Swanson’s two-run home run in Game One.

Sanford picked up two RBIs and pitched six innings with four strikeouts in the loss.

Jenna Gratz tallied two hits with a double and Chloe Munsch also notched two hits.

Cassidy Zontelli tallied three hits and three runs in CLC’s Game Two loss.


Sanford totaled five RBIs with three hits and Gratz also had a three-hit Game Two for the Raiders.

Gratz pitched six innings and tallied three strikeouts in Game Two.

Haley Youngbauer got two hits with a run and Sarah Kossan ripped a triple for the Raiders.
