College Swimming and Diving: Wallace concludes her career at MSUM

Former Brainerd Warriors Julia Wallace competed for Moorhead in NSIC Championship.

WEST FARGO, N.D. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead women's swimming and diving team finished seventh at the NSIC Championships which concluded Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Hulbert Aquatic Center.

A fifth-place finish from the 400 free relay set the pace for MSUM which finished with 198 points. Minnesota State Mankato won the event.

It was the final meet for Dragon senior and former Brainerd Warrior Julia Wallace.

She competed in the 200-yard individual medley where she swam to a 2:24.07 in the prelims to place 38th. Wallace was on the 400-yard medley relay which placed 14th. She finished 35th in the 100 backstroke and 24th in the 200 backstroke.

Wallace is the daughter of Patty and Brian Wallace.
