Minnesota State University Moorhead senior Brian Huber was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Track Athlete of the Week Tuesday.
It was the fourth time in Huber's Dragon career he has earned the weekly honor.
Huber had a strong opening meet in the Dakota Classic at North Dakota State Friday in Fargo. He won the 200-meter dash in 22.01 (21.63 when adjusted for track size), which is an NCAA provisional qualifying time, is second-fastest in the NSIC and fifth-fastest in the nation this season. Huber was also second in the long jump at 23-9.5, which is an NCAA provisional jump and seventh-best in the nation this season.
MSUM is off until Jan. 13 when it competes at the Thundering Herd Classic in Fargo.
