Pequot Lakes High School graduate Travis Jacobson is continuing his winning ways.

The Hamline University thrower launched a shot put 54-feet, 0.5 inches, to win the event at the Phil Esten Invite at La Crosse, Wis.

On Thursday, Jacobson threw the shot 53-5 on a chilly night to win the event again at the Bolstorff Invitational at Macalester College in St. Paul.
