On March 11, the College of St. Benedict and former Brainerd Warrior athlete wrapped up her senior indoor season in the same location, but with a fifth-place outcome in the 800-meter run to earn the first All-American honor of her career. This marked her fourth trip to nationals-two indoor, two outdoor-but the first time she has finished in the top eight.

Also earning All-American honors for the Blazers was former Brainerd Warrior Jenna Degen in the pentathlon with a fourth-place finish March 10.

Kosobud headed into the 800 finals seeded seventh after Friday's preliminary run. She finished the finals in 2:14.27.

The 800 race wrapped up the 2017 indoor season for Kosobud and CSB. She ends her CSB indoor track and field career with three individual records (800, 1,000 and mile) and one relay record (distance medley relay).
