College Volleyball: CLC’s Peabody honored

Grace Peabody leads the MCAC in assists per set.

Central Lakes College Raiders setter Grace Peabody was named the NJCAA DIII Offensive Player of the Week.

The freshman finished with a 9.81 set assist per set average last week

The former Brainerd Warrior also earned US Marines MCAC North Offensive Player of the Week.

In 11 sets, Peabody finished with 108 assists and 36 digs in three Raider victories.

Peabody leads the MCAC in assists per set with 9.2.

Teammate Haley Schleper leads the MCAC in kills and hitting percentage.

Those two have CLC leading the North Division with a 3-0 record. The Raiders have won eight straight entering Friday’s matches.
