MINNEAPOLIS-The No. 2-ranked University of Minnesota volleyball team defeated No. 3 Wisconsin in five sets Saturday to finish the regular season 25-4 overall, 17-3 in the Big Ten.
Minnesota triumphed 22-25, 25-17, 11-25, 25-17, 15-8 to remain undefeated at home for the second-straight regular season.
The win marked the fourth-straight 5-set win for the Gophers. Minnesota defeated all ranked opponents-Michigan State, Michigan, Nebraska and Wisconsin-in five sets.
As a team, Minnesota had 64 kills, 81 digs and nine blocks. Sarah Wilhite earned a double-double with 23 kills and 19 digs. Samantha Seliger-Swenson also had a double-double with 51 assists and 16 digs.
Paige Tapp collected a career-high 21 kills, hitting .594. Tapp had 14 kills in the first two sets, while Wilhite went 17-0-27 in the last two sets and 7-0-9 in the fifth.

Molly Lohman added a match-high eight blocks with four kills. Hannah Tapp contributed three kills and three blocks. Dalianliz Rosado had 17 digs, Katie Schau had eight, and Alyssa Goehner had five.
Minnesota was to learn what lies ahead in the postseason following the NCAA Selection Show Sunday night.
