College Volleyball: Peabody serves up two Raider wins

The Central Lakes College Raiders played two matches Saturday, Oct. 2.

THIEF RIVER FALLS — Grace Peabody was dishing it out Saturday, Oct. 2, as the freshman setter finished with 67 set assists in a pair of 3-0 Raiders wins over Northland and Lake Region State College.

Against Northland, Peabody recorded eight ace serves to go with 30 set assists. Jaimi Johnson led the Raiders with 16 kills followed by 11 from Haley Schleper, who added a team-high 14 digs and four block assists.

Schleper finished with 17 kills and 15 digs against Lake Region State. Both Johnson and Rydberg posted 10 kills. Sarah Bennett led the Raiders with 16 digs and Peabody finished with 37 set assists, six digs and two kills.
