THIEF RIVER FALLS-The Central Lakes College Raiders, led by Maggi Kellerman's 14 kills, moved their record to 7-0 with a four-game win over Northland in the Raiders Northern Division opener Wednesday, Sept. 5.
The Pioneers entered the game with a 1-0 division record and a 6-1 overall record.
The Raiders are unbeaten and ranked No. 2 in this week's NJCAA Division III, but their path to 7-0 has been a difficult one.
"We have won five matches by two points," said head coach Jane Peterson. "We are happy to win them, but hopefully we'll figure out a way to make it easier on ourselves. We're looking forward to a challenging weekend."
The Raiders won the first two games against the Pioneers, but lost the third 25-23. The fourth game went CLC's way by a score of 25-23.
