With just three games remaining, the Central Lakes Raiders moved one step closer to an undefeated division season with a three set sweep over Vermilion Saturday in Brainerd.
"We didn't come in super aggressive today, but I think (head coach) Jane (Peterson) prepared us this last week to play them," said Journee Howard. "We were prepared and ready after playing them in Vermilion earlier this year."
CLC won the first set 25-15 and had a substantial lead in the second game before letting the Lady Norse back into it. The Raiders did prevail 25-22 and closed the match with a 25-19 third-set win.
Jenny Skoog totaled 12 kills and was followed by Rachel Mathias with 10. Ashton Kapphahn tipped 33 set assists and the Raiders finished with 12 total ace serves.
Ashley Abear led the defensive effort with 10 digs and Mathias blocked three shots.

Itasca will be the final regular season home game and it will take place Wednesday.
"We are all really prepared and looking forward to it," Howard said of the Itasca game. "It will probably be the best home game we have had so far this year and I am excited. It is a night game so we should have a great crowd."
