WILLMAR - Alyssa Hamilton's 29 kills led Central Lakes College as the Raiders came away with a split at the Ridgewater Tournament on Saturday.
The Raiders defeated Williston 3-2, before losing to Division II opponent Iowa Lakes 3-2.
Ashley Abear collected 24 digs. Sam Schlangen finished with 56 set assists, and Ashton Kapphahn totaled 53 assists.
"We were better (Saturday) than Wednesday (3-1 loss at Northland)," said CLC head coach Jane Peterson. "Hopefully we had a breakthrough and it will stay that way.
"Iowa Lakes was 12-1 and we hung right in there which really helped to build our confidence. Our serving and outside hitting was better and we have been working on that."
