Two dominant performances by Central Lakes College women's volleyball Wednesday moved their record to 5-1.
They defeated Fond du Lac 3-0 in their first Northern Division matchup of the season, and capped off their day with a 3-0 sweep against Oak Hills Christian.
CLC is currently ranked fourth in the preseason NJCAA Division III poll.
Cassie Smieja led the offense in the first match against the Thunder with 10 kills. Paige Wallevand tipped 12 set assists and Kahlen Manthey collected seven digs as the Raiders won by scores of 25-7, 25-8 and 25-10.
The toughest set of the night was the first of the matchup with Oak Hills Christian as CLC won by a score of 25-18, before coasting to wins of 25-7 in the second and third set.

Wallevand knocked out 10 kills in the nightcap and was followed by Alie Johanneck with nine.
The service game was also strong as the Raiders collected 12 in the match against Oak Hills Christian, and 30 in both of their matches, led by Manthey with five in the first match.
The goal this season for head coach Jane Peterson is to get better each match. She commented that the team did that Wednesday and focused on how fluid their movement was as a team.
