Central Lakes College volleyball player Paige Wallevand was named the NJCAA Division III Volleyball National Player of the Week Wednesday, Sept. 26.

Last week Wallevand registered 13 kills with only one error in 26 attempts for a .462 hitting percentage. She also finished with 83 set assists and six ace serves.

Wallevand and her Raider teammates are ranked No.1 in the NJCAA Division III poll. CLC is 14-1 overall, 4-0 in the MCAC Northern Division.

The Raiders will return to the court at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, for a home showdown with Mesabi Range, which is also unbeaten in MCAC North play at 5-0. The Norse are 9-3 overall.
