ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud State University redshirt senior Clint Poster of Pierz has been selected the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Wrestler of the Week for matches during the week of Nov. 16-23.
The nation's top-ranked 165-pound NCAA Division II wrestler, Poster won top honors in the 165-pound gold bracket at the Finn Grinaker Open in Moorhead Nov. 21.
Poster scored three falls at the Open, which included a pin at 1:24 over University of Minnesota's Colin Carr. In the semifinals, he registered a 2:22 pin of North Dakota State's Matt Nios.
He finished with a 2:56 pin of SCSU teammate Josh Berg in the title bout for his second consecutive tournament title. Poster also won at ISU's Cyclone Open Nov. 15.
Poster has had a strong start to his 2015-16 season and is off to an undefeated 8-0 record through the first two meets.

The defending national champion Huskies continue their 2015-16 season Nov. 24 with a trip to Collegeville for a dual meet against St John's.
