ADA -- Wadena-Deer Creek’s Kira Sweeney was the varsity girls individual medalist with a 19:01 run, bringing the Wolverine girls to a fourth place team finish at the Ada-Borup Booster Cross-Country Invitational Thursday, Sept. 12.

The Wadena-Deer Creek boys saw their best run of the day from Bereket Loer who placed fourth with a 17:04.6 run to help secure a second place finish for the Wolverines.

Rounding out the top 10 for the boys were Lucas Hinojos in fifth and Nathaniel Bervig in seventh.
