HENNING -- Lucas Hinojo and Kira Sweeney claimed individual titles as they paced the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines to first in both the boys and girls races at the Ottertail Central Invite Tuesday, Oct. 8.

Hinojos crossed the line in 18:10.73 and was followed by teammate Bereket Loer in second place. Sweeney clocked a 20:39.55 and Amber Collins was fourth.

The fourth-place Pillager girls were paced by 13th-place Lillian March.

Jacob Schnoor’s 10th-place finish was the top finish for PRB Tigers and Nate Blake’s 30th was the top finish for the Huskies boys team.

Pierz 2nd and 7th

ROYALTON -- The Andres runners were once again the top finishers for the Pierz Pioneers as the girls placed second and the boys seventh at the Royalton Invite Tuesday, Oct. 8.

Carissa Andres finished 14th with a 23:29.50 for the girls and Brenna Andres was 16th.

Cole Andres clocked a 19:08.00 that placed him 10th and was followed by Ethan Kowalczyk in 12th place.
