WADENA — Aitkin’s kick and Crosby-Ironton’s jazz both punched their tickets to state at the Section 4-1A dance competition Saturday, Feb. 27, at Wadena-Deer Creek high school.
C-I’s jazz place third with 289 points out of 500 with 12 rank points. Aitkin’s kick also got a third-place finish with 317 points out of 500 and 11 rank points.
C-I’s kick finished fourth with Pierz in seventh and Wadena-Deer Creek in 10th.
Pierz finished fourth in jazz and Aitkin got fifth with Wadena-Deer Creek getting another 10th-place finish.
State jazz is scheduled for Friday, March 12, with state kick being the next day Saturday, March 13. Both will be held at Edina High School.
