Dance Team: Brainerd hosts CLC Championship meet

The Brainerd Warriors and St. Cloud Tech Tigers are tied for first place heading into the Central Lakes Conference Championship meet Friday, Jan. 20, which begins at 6:30 p.m. at Brainerd High School.

The Brainerd Warriors and St. Cloud Tech Tigers are tied for first place heading into the Central Lakes Conference Championship meet Friday, Jan. 20, which begins at 6:30 p.m. at Brainerd High School.

Brainerd and Tech have each accumulated 32 points in the season's first two meets-Nov. 24 at Alexandria and Jan. 13 at Willmar.

Following Brainerd and Tech in the standings are Sartell with 30 points, Sauk Rapids and Rocori 23, Alexandria and St. Cloud Apollo 14 and Willmar eight.

Spectators should enter through the doors on the south side of BHS. Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for students. Doors to the gym will open at 6 p.m. with the national anthem at 6:25 p.m.

All-conference athletes will be announced at the meet. All-conference is awarded based on team placement. The higher a team places the more all-conference dancers it gets.

Concessions will be for sale on the lower level adjacent to the gym.

9:15 p.m., parade of teams/awards
