The Brainerd Warriors will start their season by hosting a six-team invite Saturday, Jan 16 at Brainerd High School.
Because of COVID-19 restrictions, only two teams will be at the school at a time.
Brainerd and Bemidji will be the first two teams to compete.
The Warriors junior varsity kick will perform at 3 p.m. followed by the varsity kick team at 3:05. After a break, Bemidji’s two jazz teams will compete at 3:20 and 3:25 followed by Brainerd’s junior variety jazz at 3:30 and the varsity jazz team at 3:35.
Each team is allowed 70 spectators and tickets have already been sold. Fans will be allowed into the school at 2:35 p.m. For those who don’t have tickets, the competition can be viewed at nfhsnetwork.com. Search for Brainerd High School and subscribe to the service. There is a fee.

The third set of teams to compete will be Crosby-Ironton and Moorhead. Again, each team will be allowed 70 spectators and fans can enter the school at 6:20 p.m.

Crosby-Ironton’s junior varsity kick team will perform at 6:55 p.m. followed by the C-I varsity at 7 p.m.
The C-I junior varsity jazz team will perform at 7:25 p.m. followed by the varsity at 7:30 p.m.
Awards will be emailed out to the respective schools.
