ST. CLOUD-Brainerd will head into the Anoka Invite with two second-place finishes in the bag.
The Warriors finished second in both jazz and kick at the Central Lakes Conference finale Friday, Jan. 11.
Sartell swept the conference titles with Brainerd second. Sauk Rapids placed third in kick, while St Cloud Tech was third in jazz
"It was a pretty good night," Warrior head coach Cindy Clough said. "I think we performed better last week than we did today in both of our events, but we did a lot of switching around. We had one of our girls break her foot so we switched parts on almost everybody. I'd say we did remarkably well.
"In jazz, some of the kids had all new parts. They handled it quite well. I'm thrilled with some of our scores and we'll move on."

Brainerd's jazz scores were 72, 82, 80, 81, 82, 83, 88 compared to Sartell's 85, 83, 90, 83, 76, 85, 85.
Brainerd's kick scores were 78, 83, 85, 80, 77, 86, 81 with Sartell scoring 84, 87, 86, 81, 81, 82, 88.
Brainerd's junior varsity finished second.
Brainerd's jazz all-conference selections were India Hiltner, Jada Bentson and Quinn Geraets. Honorable mention went to Semme Hiltner, Greta Schloemer.
Brainerd's kick all-conference selections were Taylor Madsen, Grace Balsley, Quinn Geretes, Harlie Speaker and Lauren Crenna. Honorable mention was Courtney Eschenbacher and India Hiltner.
