SARTELL-The Brainerd Warriors finished second in kick and third in jazz in the final Central Lakes Conference meet of the season Friday and placed third in the final season standings.
"We were thrilled that we moved up to second in kick," said Brainerd head coach Cindy Clough. "We competed the best we have all year.
"In jazz, we don't feel we performed as well as we could have. We were a little nervous right out of the gate."
In kick, Brainerd picked up nine rank points finishing behind Sartell's four and three ahead of St. Cloud Tech.
Sartell also won the jazz competition with five rank points followed by Tech with six and Brainerd third with 12.

In the final conference standings, Brainerd finished third with 41 points to slip past Sauk Rapids into third place with 41 points behind Sartell (54) and Tech (44). Points are earned at each of the three CLC competitions during the season.
